A couple identified as Carolina "N" and Daniel "N" was arrested for their alleged participation in a case of aggravated family violence against a 10-year-old girl in the Real del Bosque housing development in Tuxtla Gutiérrez. The Attorney General's Office of the State of Chiapas confirmed the detention after neighbors reported and a video circulated on social media showing the woman attacking the girl.

According to the community of the housing development, the acts of violence were recurrent, and a resident decided to record the latest aggression from their window, alerting the authorities via 911. Subsequently, the video went viral on Facebook, generating indignation and leading the Municipal DIF Prosecutor to file a formal complaint.

The Attorney General's Office reported that an investigation was initiated against Carolina "N" and Daniel "N" for the crime of aggravated family violence against the girl, whose identity has been kept confidential. Authorities arrived at the specified residence, and after aggressive behavior from the guardians of the minor, they were arrested and placed at the disposal of the FGE.

While the facts are clarified, the girl remains under institutional protection to ensure her physical and psychological integrity. The Attorney's Office has highlighted its commitment to investigate and conclude responsibilities in accordance with the law, reaffirming its determination to protect the rights of minors, ensuring that there will be no impunity.
